SDF Woodworking and Design is custom woodworking and crafts in North Central PA.

SDF Woodworking and Design is a locally owned and operated business in Montoursville PA. The business is run by David Fink who started to learn woodworking at age 5 with the help of his Dad. From building his own clubhouse to fences and furniture, woodworking was a passion. In college David learned about CNC and automation taking woodworking to a whole new level. The ability to program and draw and then have the CNC carefully route and design creates endless possibilities. David then spent the next 20 years improving his craft, focusing more on the CNC aspect to allow for quick and accurate cutting and engraving. Most recently he expanded to vinyl cutting, laser engraving and 3D printing. After spending his career working for several local businesses making a limited variety of products, he decided to branch out and open his own custom woodworking business. In October of 2021 SDF Woodworking became a reality.

SDF Woodworking and design has a broad variety of woodworking equipment and 1 CNC with another arriving in early 2022. We also have a 24" vinyl cutter and a laser engraver. We are always looking to expand so even if we don't have the capability yet we could soon. We would love to hear your ideas as we expand for the future to meet all your needs.

We currently offer a variety of different services. We can expand upon them as we grow so check back to see what exciting new options may have been added. Our current services are as follows.

Custom woodworking: You bring your ideas and designs to us. We will build that one of a kind wood project, you have been hoping for. Don't settle for the big box stores where you have to take whatever they have. Customize the design, size and color to meet your needs.

CNC cutting and engraving: We will draw and design it on the computer and have it quickly and accurately routed and sized. From signs to engravings to cutouts, it can be tailored to what you need.

Vinyl cutting for decals and logos: These can also be used in conjunction with signs and a variety of wood projects for a quicker more efficient alternative to hand painting.

Laser engraving: We can engrave a wide variety of materials. Wood, stone, glass, plastic and metal are just a few of the items we have engraved. From images to text and initials it can be engraved with ease.

Custom furniture and crafts: When you need that cabinet or shelf to fit in an exact space. When you see that craft or decoration that you want to personalize with your own touch. Let us design and make it for you.
